With deep sorrow we regret to inform you, that Chris Jones died of lung cancer in the Albert-Schweitzer-Hospital in Northeim on Tuesday, September 13th 2005.
His funeral will take place in Germany in October, we will announce the time and place here as soon as possible.

...we're all shocked, he left a big mark and was one of the truly great contemporary guitarists. I shall miss him terribly both personally and musically, we were like brothers.
